Our client is a multinational company based in Perugia, with a view to improving the internal organisation of processes, has entrusted us with the selection of a

Chief Engineer

Reporting hierarchically to the Board of Directors and the Plant Manager, this profile will be responsible for managing the parent company's projects relating to the improvement of production lines (introduction of robotics and adoption of lean manufacturing principles) and logistics.

Responsibilities also include assigning tasks and supervising maintenance teams made up of both internal staff and external companies.  Defining and supervising company projects and negotiating (including actively searching for possible suppliers?) with suppliers. Responsibility for meeting project deadlines and budget constraints.

Responsibilities:

ü   Supervision of all phases of projects.

ü   Approval of projects and budgets.

ü   Calculation of costs and time required for each project.

ü  Ensuring that projects meet budget constraints and deadlines.

ü  Supervising staff training and equipment installation.

ü  Performing quality checks on systems.

ü  Analysing data and writing reports. Managing safety procedures (preferred qualification RSPP)

ü  Management of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 systems

ü   Supervision of the ESG area.

Requirements:

ü  Degree in engineering ( industrial, management, mechanical or electrical );

ü  At least 4 years' experience in a similar position.

ü  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

ü  Fluent/professional knowledge of the English language.

ü  Strong leadership qualities and problem-solving skills.

ü  Knowledge ( or certification ) of Lean Management in manufacturing contexts.
