• Procurement optimization Activities and Responsibilities The Naval Architect is an engineer that is experienced in Naval Architecture, able to master the key factors of success for a Naval Ship Design:
• Requirements Management using MS Excel and Doors (or Jazz);
• Pre-design phase, based on design key drivers;
• GA architecture (eventually from scratch) integrating the logics of multiple flows;
• Hull form design, including its generation using dedicated software;
• Hydrodynamics (through usage of various methods);
• Stability using dedicated softwares;
• Structure definition and scantling;
• Propulsion overall design. Besides, He/She should have a good knowledge of Naval Vessels, especially Surface Combatant Classes, and Class Rules (in particular Naval ones).
REQUIREMENTS
Master’s Degree in Naval Architect and Marine Engineering; Professional English (speaking, writing and reading); Mastering CAD softwares, in particular Rhinoceros, Autocad, Maxsurf (Microstation and Aveva Marine would be a plus); Able to sub contract specific studies and work in a multinational context.
Contract: open-ended
Hours: 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday
